Title: Determination of the parameters of equivalent schema of the pulse transformer using the Cauer circuits
Abstract: The paper, the method of formulating the equivalent model of the considered pulse transformer with an axisymmetric structure have been presented and discussed. By creating the substitute diagram, the authors developed and implemented their own software using: (a) two-dimensional (2D) edge approach of the Finite Element Method (FEM), (b) Lanczos - Pade algorithm allowing for a significant reduction of the order of the obtained FEM matrix equations, and (c) equivalent of Cauer circuits on the basis of which they formed a multi-branch equivalent circuit of a pulse transformer. Moreover, the paper presents selected results of simulation calculations obtained with the use of the proposed equivalent scheme. The obtained results were compared with the results obtained after applying the full field model.
